FULL TIME Registered Nurse 

As a member of the Mental Health Services team, you will provide support to people experiencing serious mental illness in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. You should have knowledge of psychotropic medications, community resources, assessments and goal setting, life skills training, and crisis management, as well as a demonstrated belief in client self-determination, choice and empowerment. The RN Case Manager liaises with other professionals and community partners, as per confidentiality guidelines, for the benefit of the individual.  Acts as a resource and support to family members and other staff as required.

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week (including holidays)

Salary Range: $53,605 to 60,458 + 5.00 per hour wage adjustment as per current collective agreement

Qualifications: BScN or Diploma in Nursing with current Certificate of   Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario; psychiatric nursing experience is essential for this position   

Requirements: Valid drivers license, use of a vehicle and appropriate insurance.

 
 

Additional information on the position will be provided on request. A working knowledge of French would be an asset.
